Early Music In The Schools

grade students in underserved counties in south-central Indiana. Music, played on reproductions of original instruments, is presented within the context of art, society and lifestyles of the distant past.

To spur the imaginations of students, they are encouraged to engage in the singing, dancing, and even acting.

Early Music In the Schools is now presenting a program titled "Shakespeare's Ear," an informance of literature, music and dances of the Elizabethan London that inspired many of Shakespeare’s works. Here, “Will” Shakespeare (narrator and actor) tells of his beloved London’s magic of music and theater.
