Our programs have been well-received and have had significant impact wherever we have performed.  Many parents have thanked us for making history and the arts come alive for their children, and for the introduction to instruments and music that they hadn’t realized existed.

The Board of Directors is made up of volunteer musicians and non-musicians, who rely heavily on other volunteers to make our presentations possible.

Early Music In Motion was founded in 2005 to bring music from the Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque periods to underserved communities of Southern Indiana, and to enhance the musical education of children. We do this through free concerts in public venues, especially in schools and libraries, and with “informances”, musical plays, and hands-on workshops.
